Shreya Shankar
Shreya Shankar is a second year PhD scholar in Philosophy at Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad where she is currently working on questions at the intersection of phenomenology, philosophy of technology, and environmental ethics. Her research is shaped by a broader curiosity about how human beings experience the world.
Mayank Mishra
Mayank is a PhD candidate in Philosophy at IIT Kanpur. His research focuses on Greek philosophy, especially Aristotle, and explores knowledge, reality, and the mind. His broader areas of interest include the history of philosophy, epistemology, and metaphysics.
Naina Bhargava
Naina Bhargava is a lawyer and Founder–Editor of The Philosophy Project. She writes on philosophy, law, and gender for national and international journals and newspapers. Her academic work has been presented at New York University, Cornell University, and the University of Liverpool. She was awarded Best Feature Writer at the Rainbow Literature Festival.
Simran Tapaswi
Simran is a philosophy teacher and writer from Pune. They have a BA Philosophy from Fergusson College, and a Masters in Cognitive Science from IIT Gandhinagar. Currently they work at Ashoka University as a teaching fellow. They are the founder and host of Our Feminist Reading Group and the Will To Philosophy Research Forum. In their free time, Simran enjoys swimming, solving jigsaw puzzles, learning new languages and reading.
Sugandhaa Pandey
Sugandhaa Pandey is a PhD Candidate in Philosophy at IIT Kanpur, where her research explores craft theory. Her broad areas of interest are feminism and philosophical aesthetics. Sugandhaa is also a prize-winning artist and a writer who has published with The Quint, and Pennsylvania Journal of Arts and Sciences, among others.
Tridip Patir
Tridip Patir is a researcher currently working at the Center of Policy Research and Governance (CPRG), India. A Philosophy postgraduate, he specialises in Metaphysics, Phenomenology, Philosophy of Education, Philosophy of Science, and Logic. With his work in Public Policy, he attempts to bridge the gap between practical policy frameworks and theoretical philosophy.
Salil Mishra
Salil Mishra is a PhD scholar in Philosophy at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. His research interests include aesthetics and the philosophy of art, pragmatism, epistemology, and the philosophy of mind. His doctoral research draws on John Dewey's account of experience to address longstanding questions about art and aesthetic experience.
Madiha Mattoo
Madiha is a Philosophy postgraduate from the University of Delhi and a graduate of Miranda House, where she first cultivated her enduring interest in critical inquiry. Her intellectual pursuits extend beyond the discipline into poetry, literature, politics, and religion. She currently works as an Executive Assistant to Principal at Foundation World School in Kashmir where she functions as a pedagogical architect and aims to transform the classroom into a space of intellectual emancipation, fostering not just academic competence, but genuine critical consciousness.
Dr. Puja Raj
Dr. Puja Raj (she/her) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Alliance University, Bangalore, India. Her interdisciplinary research and teaching span feminist philosophy, ethics, epistemology, film and media studies, gender studies, and cultural theory.
Dr. Prashant Kumar
Dr. Prashant Kumar is a Junior Fellow with the Desirable AI project at the Centre for Science and Thought, University of Bonn, and Assistant Professor at Lakshmibai College, University of Delhi. His current research interests include metaontology, and the ontology of AI, investigating what it means for artificial entities to "exist" within human thought.
Aditi J
Aditi has a Bachelor’s in Philosophy and a Master’s in Linguistics from DU. They are a writer, published poet and an independent researcher who always has a hard time not falling down rabbit holes of niche information.
